Simply Staffed is Hiring a Database Architect Near Dulles, VA
MULTIPLE LOCATION OF THIS ON-SITE POSITION: Either State College, PA or Dulles, VA or Aurora, CO or Richardson, TX
TIME REQUIREMENTS: This is a full-time position for a time period of at least 6 months. With the right qualifications, the position could be much longer.
REQUIRED TO GET AN INTERVIEW:
- Clearance requirements: This position requires an active and transferable TS/SCI U.S government issued security clearance prior to start date
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics
- (STEM) and Six (6) years of software engineering experience
- Six (6) years of experience in database design and architecture in a MongoDB environment including experience with:
- Mongo Query performance tuning
- Mongo pipelines
- Architecting large data solutions
- Database and system-level debugging experience including the ability to identify problems in established code and make modifications as necessary
- Software development experience in Java
- Experience working in a Linux environment
- Experience with AWS environment
- Experience with Kafka
- Experience with OpenSearch
- Experience working in the Intelligence Community
- Experience with relational databases and other non-relational databases
- Experience with satellite communication systems and protocols is highly preferred
- Master’s degree in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
